Country Iron Kennels strives to produce the highest quality puppies from the most desired XL Pitbull and American Bully XL bloodlines in the world. We do not flood the market with just puppies for sale. Our breedings are carefully planned out, sometimes a very long time in advance. The most important qualities to us in a breeding pair is temperament, stability, intelligence, energy level, breed type, health, and function – the beautiful “looks” of our dogs is just a plus.
Blue American Bully
Many of the puppies we produce are blues. The blue gene is a dilute gene that many Pit Bulls and XL Bullies carry (even if they do not have a blue coat). If each parent has the dilute gene, together they can produce blue puppies. Sometimes the entire litter can be blue, and sometimes just a portion of the litter will be blues. Two parents that are dilutes (that is, blues) will always produce blue Pitbulls (and occasionally other colors). Many times you may see a fawn or two from two blue parents.
Solid Black Pitbulls
Occasionally we produce black Bullies and solid black Bully Pit puppies. While we do not do breedings based on color, it is very exciting when we see our beautiful pups born with all these beautiful coat colors. Black pups take on that panther look when they are adults – it is very stunning to say the least! These dogs as adults are show stopping and jaw dropping. The temperament and health of our puppies are a plus to these exotic looks. We are proud to produce beautiful dogs!
Blue Nose Pits
You may hear the term bluenose used a lot in the Pit Bull & XL Bully communities. While we do not refer to our dogs as this term, many dog owners do. This is just a slang term, and does not refer to anything more than the dogs coat and nose coloring. Bluenose is not a bloodline, a breed, or a type. A breeder should never refer to their dogs as a bluenose or a Blue Nose Pit when discussing breed or pedigree to someone looking for a puppy. This is a red flag that the breeder is not educated on their breed, and probably puts little time or planning into breeding.
Brindle XL American Bully
The coat color brindle is the beautiful striping you see on some coats. It is a marking/pattern rather than a color. Some refer to this pattern as tiger stripe. This pattern can show on any coat color. So, in the brindle world you may see blue brindle, black brindle, fawn brindle, and even tri brindle (referred to as trindle). It only takes a brindle gene from one parent for it to show on puppies. If you love this coat color, contact us so we may get you set up on a breeding that may produce this pattern.
